Our Story
How We Met
Our story began in 2020 on a late summer day at Greenlake in Seattle, Washington. We met for a date after matching on Hinge. Camille brought a six pack of hazy IPAs (Fremont Sky Kraken, of course), and we sat on the dock chatting about everything from our favorite meals to cook (mostly Camille) to our passion projects (mostly Gareth's train company).
When we couldn't wait for the next date, a private cooking lesson at Camille's apartment, we knew we had something special that required the opening of our COVID bubbles. We played tennis, went kayaking, carved pumpkins, and backpacked in the Olympic Peninsula all within the first month.
From then on, it's been one adventure after another. Whether it's hiking with our dog, Euca; biking through upstate New York; or just reading in Elizabeth Street Garden, we're always searching for the next activity. We lived in Mexico City together for a few months, moved to New York shortly after, and now, we can't wait to begin this new chapter of our lives together, surrounded by our loved ones.
